Portley Colwell is PUNCH Films’ puppet master.
Through his illustration and animation talents, he’s able to create new worlds for our clients and their videos. This Michigan native got his design start Stopping the Insanity in Seattle before returning to the Midwest to study graphic design at IPFW. He joined the PUNCH team in 2009, and has been cultivating his love of editing, illustrating, and animating ever since. He attributes his unique creative perspective from a love of travel, typography and the need to try most everything once. Often you can find him knitting wool socks and dreaming of new, exciting ways to get cats on the internet.
His spirit animal is a sea otter.
